Horizon Science Academy Cleveland Elementary School
Founded in 2005, Horizon Science Academy Cleveland Elementary is a public charter school serving approximately 335 students in grades K–8 and offering a rigorous STEM-focused education designed to develop inquisitive learners, problem solvers, and ethical leaders. Operated by Concept Schools, the school promotes high student achievement through a culture of accountability, strong family engagement, and high expectations for students, staff, and families alike. Horizon Science Academy Cleveland Elementary governed by a local school board that has entered into a charter agreement with a charter authorizer. The local school board also has an agreement with Concept Schools, one of the nation’s top charter school management organizations.

Concept Model
Horizon Science Academy Cleveland Elementary is managed by Concept Schools, an award-winning charter management organization that assists over 40 schools across the Midwest. Since 1999, Concept has built a reputation for providing a wide array of services for its network of schools, including its STEM-focused curricula that has put students in a position to succeed after they graduate high school. It has been around almost as long as the charter school movement and has been a great partner in helping Horizon Science Academy Cleveland Elementary get to the point it is at today.
