Literacy Support at HSACE

At HSACE we believe that every child has the potential to become a strong reader. We also believe our families & Cleveland's families deserve the most updated information on Ohio’s new dyslexia law & Structured Literacy Implementation. This means even more support is available for each scholar.

Wondering how you can help your scholar reach their fullest potential? Here are a few things to consider:

Ask questions at school about early screening options: early detection makes a BIG difference!

Share what you’re seeing at home; your insights help teachers tailor support for your child. At HSACE we believe education is a partnership with students & their families!

Stay involved: attend parent teach conferences and don't be afraid to ask for details on your scholars progress, join parent nights, check class & school Do Jo regularly for updates on assignments, projects, & events that are due, and celebrate every success, big or small! Explore local resources and free reading programs to reinforce skills outside the classroom. Mrs. Roddy our Literacy Coordinator & Mrs. Ostkar our Academic Assistant Principal are here to support your scholars reading needs.

Working together we can unlock your child’s reading potential starting in Kindergarten!
